Maude "Molly" Guerin, MD

Dr. Guerin grew up in Princeton, New Jersey and attended the University of Michigan and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Zoology in 1974. During this time she met and married her husband Bill.  She graduated in 1978 from the University of South Florida College of Medicine then in 1982 finished an Ob/Gyn residency through the University of Vermont program in Portland, Maine.  To fulfill a medical school scholarship obligation, Dr. Guerin served in the US Public Health Service in rural New Hampshire for 3 years.  During this time she started a prenatal and gyn clinic for underserved women.  She then became a partner in a busy private practice in Manchester, New Hampshire until 1989, when her husband joined the MSU Department of Crop and Soil Science and they moved back to Michigan.  Dr. Guerin became an associate professor of Ob/Gyn at the MSU College of Human Medicine but missed the world of private practice.  After a short detour as a Sparrow Hospital employed physician, she along with Dr. Kelley, Dr. Moyerbrailean and Dr. Bell joined together in 1997 to form Alliance Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Guerin’s special areas of interest are menopause, hormones, non-surgical management of abnormal bleeding and obstetrics.
